It is important for Service Providers to have a great first impression of you. One of the most important parts of your GotoFix profile is your photo, as it’s one of the first things that potential Service Providers see.

We encourage you to consider the following when choosing yours. Service Providers want to see you in your profile photo, so they know exactly who they’re dealing with and whose home they will be working in.

Factors To Consider

• Ensure the photo is a headshot of just you—from the chest up.
• Make sure your face is centralized on the image frame, smiling at the camera is best.

• Have your eyes visible and gazing straight at the camera.
• Lighting is important for your photo quality, Have soft light shining onto your face.
• Have your face be as bright as (or brighter than) the background.

• Be in focus and have your face be clear of hair, hats, shadows, or anything else!
• Keep the photo background blurred and not busy. Busy backgrounds can distract from the photo’s main subject—which should be you.  

• Shoot against neutral backdrops that aren’t too busy.
• Have you as the focus, so what’s around you isn’t a distraction.
